Carol enjoys teaching piano to students K-12th grade. In order to provide a broad musical foundation, she strives to tailor her students’ instruction to their individual goals and learning styles by incorporating a variety of musical genres, technique and theory. As a teacher with over 25 years experience, Carol believes that given a positive, encouraging environment, any student will gain confidence as they learn new musical skills.

Music has always been a large part of Carol’s life, beginning piano lessons at the age of 8. She has enjoyed working in church music ministries since 1987, directing adult, youth, and children’s choirs as well as participating on worship teams as a pianist and vocalist.  Carol earned a Bachelor of Arts in Social Science with a Formal Minor in Music from Washington State University, graduating summa cum laude.
