Carol enjoys teaching beginning to advanced piano students of all ages. In order to provide a broad musical foundation, she strives to tailor her students’ instruction to their individual goals and learning styles by incorporating music history, technique and theory. As a teacher with over 25 years experience, Carol believes that given a positive, encouraging environment, any student will gain confidence as they learn new musical skills.

Music has always been a large part of Carol’s life, beginning piano lessons at the age of 8. She has enjoyed working in church music ministries since 1987, directing adult, youth, and children’s choirs as well as participating on worship teams as a pianist and vocalist.  Carol earned a Bachelor of Arts in Social Science with a Formal Minor in Music from Washington State University, graduating summa cum laude.  Carol is a member of Music Teachers National Association.

Carol has been married to Rod for 38 years and they have three adult daughters. She lists her three darling grandchildren, family and friends as her favorite interests. Carol also enjoys entertaining, drinking tea, and relaxing during her spare time.
